southwest philly teen alternatives to gun violence program

skills i contributed to the start-up of the program include:

• mission, vision, core values, policies + practices development

• collaborative design of program, leveraging Alternatives to Violence Project curriculum and background experience as an educator

• creative ideas for moving teen voices into public spaces

• facilitation of small and large group activities, with youth and adults

• meaningful discussion questions for peer and intergenerational community building, deep engagement with teens

• registration practices and facilitator background clearance advising

• feedback analysis and responsive shifts in programming

• creative development of informational flyers and end-of-program certificates

• strategic plans for growing the program to reach more teens
